Effects of cold rolling and annealing time on fatigue resistance of AA5052 aluminum alloy

چکیده

In the present study, influences of cold rolling and annealing time on fatigue crack propagation behavior AA5052 aluminum alloy were investigated. The sheet was cold-rolled under different reductions, i.e., 0, 15, 30, 45%. 45% as-rolled specimen then annealed at 370°C times, for 2, 4, 6 h. microstructure evolutions after treatments also examined using optical microscopy whereas characterized by a test. Results showed that severely elongated grains observed with increasing reduction. microstructures changed into equaxial structures due to recrystallization during treatment. life decreased drastically reduction but increased significantly time. reduced 93% when up On other hand, rolled samples 412% 370ºC
